Different regulatory regimes tax (or will start taxing) GHG emissions (ETS), and each regulation does this differently. Estimating the GHG footprint of various shipment alternatives is becoming increasingly complex! The Dutch government made its Biograce tooling available, which could be used with some tweaks and adjustments. However, this will be phased out by December 31, 2025.
