GGL has decided to temporarily withdraw its certification scheme from the assessment procedure by the Dutch advisory commission on sustainability of biomass for energy applications (ADBE). A preliminary assessment report by ADBE presented a generally positive evaluation, while it also recommended several changes to GGL in order to be fully compliant. GGL wishes to process these changes into the GGL scheme, for which the procedure requires renewed submission of the GGL documents. GGL will consider the resubmission in consultation with ADBE and its stakeholders ensuring a timely recognition for use of GGL on the Dutch energy market.
